NERSC Account Management

Before you can use NERSC you need to be sponsored by a NERSC Principal Investigator and you need a user login name (also called a username). See How to get an Account.

Users and Project Managers need to know how How Accounts are Managed at NERSC. They also need to know and abide NERSC's user policies:

• Computer Use Policies Form
• Password Policy and Procedures
• User Account Policies
• Acknowledgement Policy

NERSC uses the NERSC Information Management (NIM) system to manage user information and accounts.
