Greeting NERSC User,

Seaborg is scheduled to be decommissioned on January 8, 2008.

As of today, November 1 2007, all software is frozen, except
for critical system maintenance (e.g., security patches).
Also, no new user accounts will be created on Seaborg.  Users
should be migrating their work to Bassi, Jacquard, and/or
Franklin.  NERSC User Services Group is available to assist
in these efforts; send email to consult_at_nersc_dot_gov.
