    Greetings Seaborg User,

Due to a series of unrelated hardware failures, NERSC staff will
be taking Seaborg down for emergency repairs tomorrow (Thursday,
August 3) morning  at 8:00 PDT.  We expect the machine to return
to service by 14:00 on Thursday.

As we approach the scheduled downtime (i.e. late Wednesday night
and early Thursday morning), there will be possible opportunities
for good turnaround on short-running, highly-parallel jobs.
