Index New Default AVS/Express on Escher

Greetings NERSC User,

As previously announced:

   http://www.nersc.gov/hypermail/all-announcements/0537.html

the default version of AVS/Express has been upgraded to 7.0
on Escher.  To access the previous version, use the following
command:

     module load avs-express/6.3

Please note that on Seaborg, the default version of AVS/Express
is still 6.3.  It is highly unlikely that AVS/Express will be
upgraded again on Seaborg, as the vendor has discontinued support
for AIX platforms.
