During gseaborg scheduled downtime on October 12th 2000, three fixes will be 
installed to resolve the following problems with the XL Fortran V7.1
compiler :

 - xlf compilations using "-O4" generate incorrect results for some user codes. 		
 
 - mpxlf90 compilations using "-qhot" sometimes generate incorrect results.	   

 - xlf90 compilations sometimes fail due to exceeding the available system       
   resources.
