Dear AVS-Express users,

AVS Express 5.1 is now available on escher.nersc.gov.  This version
fixes the DISPLAY variable bug.  To access this new version execute
the command:

module load avs-express/5.1

On June 1, 2001 AVS Express 5.1 will become the default, and the
current version 4.2 will be removed.  Please report any problems you
experience in migrating to the newer version of AVS Express to
graphics_at_nersc_dot_gov.
