    Dear Franklin users,

This is to announce that we have a new policy on the stdout/stderr file
size limit: User jobs writing to stdout or stderr with file sizes more
than 100 MB will be terminated. The new policy will be in effective
    since next Wednesday, Oct 9.

The motivation behind this policy is that all stdout and stderr files
are spooled in a NFS file system on the boot node with a limited
capacity. Any user job with randomly large stdout/stderr file size
filling up this file system would cause all other running jobs writing
    to stdout/stderr fail.

Users are encouraged to redirect their "large" stdout/stderr files to
local files in their running directory under Lustre file system. See
    details at
    https://www.nersc.gov/nusers/systems/franklin/running_jobs/#stdout_stderr.

    Best Regards,

    Helen He
