Dear NERSC users, In cooperation with CEI, the vendor who produces EnSight, the NERSC Visualization Group is providing a lecture via the Access Grid entitled, "EnSight Visualization Seminar", presented by Kent Misegades, President of CEI. This lecture will provide introductory training on the use of EnSight. EnSight is software used for analyzing, visualizing and communicating high-end scientific and engineering datasets that can take full advantage of parallel processing machines and can handle models containing hundreds of millions of nodes. The lecture is scheduled for August 19, 2003 from 9:00AM - 1PM PDT (Pacific Time). The last hour of scheduled time will be provided for Q&A with the vendor's technical representatives and President. Participation is open to all who are interested. Local users may attend the presentation located in the LBL Access Grid room in Building 50B, Room 1211. Please send email to ksschwartz@lbl.gov if you are interested in attending either locally or via the Access Grid, so that we will have an approximate idea of how many people will be attending. Additional hands-on EnSight training is available from the vendor on the following two days near LLNL for a fee, also available to all who wish to attend. Please contact kim@ensight.com for registration and information. Please reference: https://agschedule.ncsa.uiuc.edu:443/meetingdetails.asp?MID=1781 for additional information.
