Greetings, NERSC is pleased to announce the following changes on seaborg.nersc.gov: 24 hour queue ---------------------------- Work with the NERSC Users's Group has lead to the creation of a longer running queue on seaborg. "regular_long" is similar to regular but with a 24 hour wallclock maximum. Details on this class and other changes to the queues are described at: http://hpcf.nersc.gov/running_jobs/ibm/#Resource 64bit MPI ---------------------------- IBM has provided beta libraries for MPI using 64 bit compilation. The larger 64 bit address space allows more than 2 Gigabytes of memory per MPI task. This library is unsupported and has other limitations, but has been tested by NERSC staff. Local documentation, howtos, and examples are provided at: http://hpcf.nersc.gov/computers/SP/mpi64/ David Skinner
